An other super fun photogrammetry project ! I captured these cuties with my home made setup with turntable + DSLR + polarization filter + 2 studio lights and using the void technique to isolate the object. Color profile done with X-rite color checker during the shooting for true albedo colors.
Some tweaks have been done in Lightroom on all the Raw pics.
Approximately 110 pictures per object !
The rest of the process consisted in processing the pictures in Reality Capture, cleaning the raw scan in Zbrush and resculpting a bit some noisy parts, reprojection of the albedo in RC with new UVs, manual retopo in Blender for the LP + UVs, baking in Xnormal , Roughness creation in Painter and rendering in Marmoset Toolbag 4.
I used Megascan foliage and assets to create the little showcase scene, only the stone animals scanned by me !
I had so much fun doing this project, the main goal was to continue my switching to Blender and learn rendering in Toolbag 4 to test the gorgeous Raytracing feature.
